CA Foundation Paper 3 — Quantitative Aptitude

Paper 3 is a 100-mark objective MCQ exam — no negative marking, 2 hours duration, 100 questions. It covers three sections: Business Mathematics (~40 marks), Logical Reasoning (~20 marks), and Statistics (~40 marks). For students who are comfortable with Class 11–12 Maths, this is the most reliably scoring paper in CA Foundation.

The No-Negative-Marking Advantage

With no negative marking, your strategy changes: attempt all 100 questions. On questions where you've narrowed it to two options, always guess rather than leave blank. In practice, students who follow this approach consistently score 5–8 marks more than those who leave uncertain questions unanswered.
