FAA is a 100-mark objective MCQ paper testing the accounting cycle and introductory audit concepts. For CS students who are not from a commerce background, this is typically the most challenging Foundation paper. For commerce students, it is the most straightforward — covering exactly what they studied in Class 11–12 Accounts.

The CS-Accounting Connection
CS professionals need enough accounting literacy to review financial statements, verify regulatory compliance (SEBI disclosures, annual return accuracy, dividend calculations), and advise the Board on financial matters. CS Foundation FAA builds that literacy — it is not meant to make you an accountant, but to give you the financial reading skills essential for Secretarial practice.
